Building a more equitable world through sustainable humanitarian programs
Good People International USA is the American branch of Good People International, a global humanitarian organization founded in Korea in 2003. Based in Virginia, USA, we are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 88-3600729) dedicated to creating sustainable change in vulnerable communities worldwide.
As part of a global NGO operating in 20 countries with 32 field offices and projects, Good People International USA works in partnership with local communities, governments, and international organizations to deliver comprehensive programs that address both physical and emotional needs. Our programs span education, healthcare, WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene), community development, and emergency relief.

Our USA office serves as a hub for international fundraising, advocacy, and program support. We hold Special Consultative Status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
Our mission, vision, and values in brief
Empowering vulnerable communities worldwide through holistic support—addressing both physical needs and emotional well-being to build sustainable, dignified lives.
A world where every person lives with dignity and hope, and communities achieve self-reliance through compassion and partnership.
How we create sustainable impact
We work directly with communities to understand their unique needs, challenges, and aspirations, ensuring our programs are culturally appropriate and locally driven.
Together with local partners, we design programs that leverage community strengths and address identified gaps with sustainable, evidence-based solutions.
Our experienced teams work alongside community members to implement programs, building local capacity and ensuring knowledge transfer.
We continuously monitor program outcomes, measure impact, and adapt strategies based on data and community feedback to ensure effectiveness.
Good People holds Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), enabling us to contribute to global humanitarian discourse.
We collaborate with leading international organizations, governments, corporations, and civil society groups to amplify our impact and share best practices.
Our operations meet the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and effectiveness as recognized by international humanitarian networks.
The principles that guide our work
Every decision we make puts the dignity, safety, and well-being of the people we serve at the center. We listen, learn, and respond to community needs with respect and humility.
We don't believe in quick fixes. Our programs are designed for long-term success, building community capacity and creating systems that endure beyond our presence.
We work alongside local organizations, governments, and international partners to leverage collective expertise and resources for greater impact.
We operate with the highest standards of financial integrity and program accountability. Your trust is sacred to us, and we honor it through transparent reporting.
We address both physical needs (food, health, education) and emotional/psychological needs, recognizing that true well-being requires healing of both body and spirit.
With operations in 20 countries and UN consultative status, we bring a truly global perspective to local challenges, sharing best practices across borders.
